The drivers who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, lay their handprints and footprints in a wheel-shaped plate. This bronze plate contains, besides, the driver signing winners and the year of their victory.
20 years after the first laying of the bronze plate on the streets of Saint Nicolas district of Le Mans, and to celebrate this event, in agreement with the Le Mans City Council, “l’Empreinte des Pilotes” has decided to put 20 new plates in the Le Mans City Center.
“Never seen in France”, have its own name along side the winners drivers the 24 Hours of Le Mans!
